This Coaching/skills development program caters to teaching owners HOW to train their own dog at home and at the places they want to be able to take their dog.
Includes
Coaching/education on how to achieve on and off leash success, how to gain focus and attention in distractions, how to solve pesky behaviour problems around the home and property, and how to bring anxiety/reactivity/aggression under control using a balanced approach of positive reinforcement methods and non harsh e-collar use.
When you sign up, you will first get access to our online training program to begin your initial homework. This program is where you will find all the homework that you will complete in between your lessons.
THE TRAINERS
Sara Bryanton
Sara is the Head Trainer + Coach in Prince Edward Island. She facilitates lessons in both Stratford & Kensington.
Duke Ferguson
Duke is the Master Trainer + Coach. In this program, he will be going LIVE on Zoom bi-weekly to help coach and train with our UPX Group.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
PRIVATE LESSONS
You will receive 2-3 private one on one lessons with a trainer spread over 4-6 weeks. This will provide you ample time to make progress with the skills taught in person and in the online program so you can achieve initial results and be prepared for your next level of classes. Being able to book these lessons is dependent on previously assigned course materials and hands-on work at home being complete or well in progress.
SEMI-PRIVATES
What you’ve really signed up for is to learn how to achieve results in distractions! This is why private training is limited. We will now provide you with 2-3 semi private classes (more if needed). These high level coaching classes are to provide you with an opportunity to learn how to manage and handle your dog in a small group setting with 1-2 other clients who are at the same point in training as you are. Admittance to these classes will be based on progress achieved during your private training.
ZOOM COACHING
These bi-weekly classes happen Wednesdays at 1 pm and provide you a chance to speak to master trainer, Duke Ferguson. You will learn ways to achieve growth not only in your dog training but in your personal life as well. There will be educational sessions on dog training topics, opportunities to work your dog on camera and have Duke coach you, and times where Duke works a dog on camera and teaches the group.
These sessions are recorded so you can catch the replay if you can’t be there. You will have access to this for 3 months. If you’d like to continue the experience you can for $49 a month.
3 MONTH SCHEDULE EXAMPLE
*This is just an example. Stratford lessons take place Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat & Kensington lessons are Wednesdays.
As long as you are doing the work, we will do all that it takes to help you! Here’s what else is included:
- E-Collar Technologies e-collar with 1/2 mile range, fully waterproof, ultra-bright LED light for nighttime use, and non-harsh stimulation (value- $350), Custom UPK9 professional trainers food pouch, and 15-foot leash (value $55)
- Group classes for 3 months. These will open up to you once you finish your semi-private lessons. These classes are outdoors year-round. Stratford is every Saturday at 10 am and Kensington is every second Saturday at 3 pm. You can continue group classes past 90 days for a monthly fee. Speak to your trainer to find out more!
- Free access to Duke's online Dog Training Genesis program for the duration of private lessons ($630 value). This is where all homework will be found. $100 extra if you would like to keep it after lessons.
